I’ve had a heck of a last few weeks, thus the lack of posting.  But I have finished a few projects recently and wanted to share them.

Two Tiramisu baby blankets in Dream in Color Groovy.  One is Chinatown Apple, the other is Strange Harvest.  I don’t like the frilly edge in the pattern so I just do sc, ch3, sc in each stitch around the edge.

I love the Groovy so I decided to make a Funky Sock Monkey for Pax using it.  I used the pattern from Blue Moon, just shortened the limbs and tail, but otherwise followed the pattern (with think yarn and bigger needles, obviously).  This was my first experience with afterthought “heels” and it was far easier than I’d expected.

His name is Jeffrey.

I made a neck-warmer for a friend of mine.  Pax is modeling it.  I used Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk Aran.

Then, a few baby hats.  All out of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran.  The first is Woolywormhead’s Baby Jester Hat.  The others are just simple stockinette caps.  I found the cute buttons at a local shop.

With all the hats I’ve been turning out, Larry was feeling a little left out.  So, I made him a Cunning Hat in just his size.
